Two back to back workshops to discuss harmonization and better understanding of data and assumptions used in estimating regional and global emissions from transportation, small industrial sources, and residential combustion. Although the workshops are independent and associated with two different projects, they have a lot in common (mostly the same problems) and therefore organized one after each other allowing interested participants to join both.

II COLOMBIAN CONGRESS AND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF AIR QUALITY AND PUBLIC HEALTH – SAEMC Meeting 2009
As a continuation of the First Colombian Congress of Air Quality and Health, organized in March 2007 in the city of Manizales (Colombia), was summoned to the scientific community, members of corporations and entities responsible for ensuring for the environment and health, as well as decision makers and citizens interested in these subjects to participate in the second version of this event.
This time, Congress will have an international character and will be held in Cartagena (Colombia) in July 2009.
The call for reception of abstracts of papers wishing to be considered for presentation at this event will end on 15 March 2009 (see this file for more information and to consult the instructions for authors)

Beca Posdoctoral en modelado climatico y asimilacion de datos
Se invita a interesados a aplicar para una beca posdoctoral en el Grupo de Investigacion en Ciencias Atmosfericas (GICA) de la UNNE. El trabajo estara enfocado en el desarrollo y aplicacion de una tecnica de asimilacion de datos para la estimacion de parametros de modelos climaticos.
